VILLAGE ESCAPE ACCOMMODATION (M621)  Step into this cheery, Brookline Village escape and relish the opportunity to live like a local in your spacious room in a sunny apartment on the first floor of a large, two-family house.  Totally updated, gleaming and oozing charm, these accommodations offer you the sophisticated comfort of a home-away-from-home, a quiet tree-lined setting and close proximity to Boston.  Your room with double bed and desk is situated in the front of the house with a private, newly-remodeled bath down the hall. A futon mattress is available in the same room for a child. For families or larger groups, the entire apartment, including an airy second bedroom with a Queen bed plus separate bath, is available some weekends.  10-minute walk to two subway stops, 25-minute walk to the Longwood Medical area.
