AVON HILL HOUSE (M886) This c.1910 stucco home belonged to L'il Abner cartoonist Al Capp in the '60s. This comfortable, antique-filled B & B on a quiet residential street in Cambridge offers two spacious rooms on the third floor, each with five windows. "The Studio", 25' by 13', with 12 foot ceilings, is furnished with antique brass twin beds. The second room, 16' square, with a working fireplace, has a queen-sized bed. Both have comfortable sitting areas with a sofa and television and they share a modern bath, with a marble sink and shower/tub combination.

Double: $120-130/night, $720-780/week. Single: $95-105/night, $570-900/week.
NOTE: Rates based on single or double occupancy. Higher rates apply during special events. In most cases, 2 night minimum unless with short notice or some weekdays.
