The location of this apartment is ideal to explore the freedom trail. Real close to the North Church and the Paul Revere house. If you're into bakeries, like I am, Modern Pastry and Mike's Pastries are only a few blocks away and they are both sooo good. The street this apartment is on felt like a movie set on the back lot of Universal Studios and the exposed brick was so charming. I think if we had used the sofa pullout, however, it would have been a bit tight. My husband was unlucky enough to have his wallet stolen on his way to airport before we even got to Boston. The reservation staff and owner were very accommodating helping us with our misfortune by forwarding mail. We truly appreciated everyone's effort to keep our vacation on track.
Thank You Everyone For a Great Stay! Julie V, July, 2010
“Cute Place, Great Location”
What a cute place--absolutely charming, even better than the photos! Tucked away on a quiet corner in Little Italy, this home really impressed us. This was our first experience ever in 30 years staying in a place that wasn't a hotel or part of our timeshare network. My wife and I were very impressed with how spotlessly clean this place was, with everything in perfect order. We loved the juxtapostion of the older, near-antique items with the modern conveniences of a flat-screen TV, the great Sanyo wall-mount aC units and a nice strong hot shower. So the stairs creaked a bit in this cool old building and the bed mattress sounded crunchy, but we got a great night's sleep in total darkness, and then, wow--what a view from our window and even better from the rooftop deck! Be sure to catch a meal at the renowned Pizzeria Regina across the street--our best 'za in years. Meanwhile, you're only a few blocks away from Bova's Bakery (great cholocate chip cheesecake) and Mike's or Modern Pastry on Hanover Street.
The folks at bnbboston.com made the entire transaction easy and understandable--we'd do it again in a heartbeat! Jay & Dee June, 2010
"Charming Apartment in a Great Neighborhood!"
I accompanied my husband on a business trip to Boston and was so glad that we stayed at this lovely apartment rather than the hotel his coworkers chose. It was so sweet, clean & comfortable, and had everything we needed. The office equipment was a great feature(the fax machine saved the day before his big presentation!),and I loved escaping to the deck to get a little sun and enjoy the amazing views of the city. Great restaurants nearby, tons of friendly people to give us sightseeing tips, and we were so close to everything. I would return in a heartbeat! Mitch May 2010
"Boston's North End at its best"
This is a beautifully furnished and exquisitely decorated location in Boston's North End...a short stroll to the wonderful restaurants, bakeries and shops on Salem and Hanover Streets. Amenities were excellent, and there is a brochure upon entering that provides useful information on parking and local activities/events. Lovely brick interior and fireplace provide a superb North End experience. I highly recommend this one! Rvesco March, 2010
