INN AND TAVERN AT
SHERBORN (IW505) This renovated residence of Colonel
Samuel Bullard (1733-1807) is nestled in the charming, upscale
village of Sherborn, Massachusetts, only 35 minutes west of
Boston. The Inn's four guest rooms are located in the original
building and reflect a delicate balance of historic beauty and the
modern amenities a traveler would expect. Some of the
appointments you will find in your room include a television,
clock/radio, refrigerator, two telephones, a hair dryer and
scale. Cribs and cots are also available on request.
Complimentary continental breakfast is served in the tavern dining
room. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner in the
informal, 1827 Tavern, a larger dining room overlooking the
landscape or enjoy an intimate dinner in one of their small, warm
dining rooms. It is also an ideal setting for private functions,
which can accommodate parties of up to 140 guests. The restaurant
has received several awards as the outstanding restaurant in the
Metro west region of Boston, blending modern cuisine with seasonal
New England influences in a dazzling array of creative specials.
